I am not a people person. i have tried to be before. i have tried many times. i have tired recently. it does not work out.

So, then, would you be under the idea that people do not necessarily need people to the extent that society would make us believe... i.e. Is the level of social need a fundamental or societal truth?

So... I don't think you're not a people person, so much as most of the general public are not Patrick people. At least, that's how I rationalize it.

I=ok, and am cool with the rare other person who is also ok.
Most of the world=too fucked up and shallow to be ok.
