i may have mentioned by roommate, john, before. i'm not going to go into great detail about him, b/c i'm only updating because i'm in furiated.
i was just told by one of his friends "he's going to work, he's going to class, i don't know what else you want out of him". i was angry at her b/c she stayed up all night with him last night. i wouldn't care if john didn't do this ON A REGULAR BASIS, ei about 3-4 times a week, if not all week.
w/o explaining the symptoms, i'm just going to tell you that john has bi-polar disorder and he doesn't want therapy or medication. over the summer he took 19 hours of credits so that he could catch up again, and dropped them all. He's taken UC, which is this horriblly stupid class that is required to graduate, FOUR times, and he's dropped it every single time. John is currently enrolled in 2 classes right becuase he barely went to any of them this semester. By barely i mean, not at all. he has very unhealthy tendacies, and all of his friends decided that they're not going to do anything simply because "he'll shut you off the minute you try to talk to him".
so its better to not do anything than to try to do anything at all. apathy is my worst enemy.
john is sick. if it is in my power, i'm going to help him. i thats what i want out of him, health. i'm sorry that i'm the only one concerned for my friends.
