more passion, less fashion
So im sitting on joels bed right... i reallyl have nothing to say but hes writing a paper so i am kinda bored and figured id update...
so i saw this shirt at hot topic the other day... its just a green shirt with big black writing across it that says "more passion, less fashion" or maybe the other way around... but you get it. I saw it and i was like wow that kinda of sums up the problems with the music scene and is the solution... I was going to buy it but it was 20 bucks... you know hot topic... i didnt though because i was xmas shopping and wasnt there to spend money on myself, but now i kinda wish i had. the message is sooo important to me, but then at the same time i ask myself, if i spend 20 bucks on this shirt from hot topic, i am being a complete hypocrit? so i considered making one myself, but then id jus tbe stealing someone elses idea and thats lame too. I figured that the best solution would be to steal it, but considering the fact that i dont steal and im totally un-slick like that, i ruled that out too. then i thought... well its`not like youre stealing from an individual or a couse you want to support (like a band or record shop) its a huge corporation who wont even miss the over-priced garment. but theres also one of those little ink tags on it... and im still totally un-slick. so i think ill just go buy it and tell myself that the message makes up for the 20 bucks... if i wear that shirt to a show and some kid sees it and reads it and is inspired or something, then i think its worth it.
