after bitching of an evening about the JCR and it's ineffciency and broke-ness and they many things it tries to do and fails at, and the many things it pays no attention to at all, and also ACT (Aidan's College Theatre) and it's inactivity and general slothfullness, I have formulated a plan (including coup).
It is thus: We plan to put on a college pantomine at Christmas (the writing and planning are already underway). We put it on through ACT, using their funding, and becoming slightly influential being the only ones who've done anything with it for a year. We then stage a coup. I get elected president of ACT. I kick their thespian asses into doing a handful or plays, including musicals, and generally indulging my theatrical whims. I get college stash with 'President of ACT' on it. Joanna lives happily ever after. The end.
