CHSPE

Yes, well, happy holidays to you all. It's been a very weird year for me. Sorry for my lack of better descriptions, but that's really the word that describes this year. It's been really weird, but all in all, it's been very "educational". I guess you can say that. I learned from a lot of mistakes and made many great friends. With Christmas about 1 1/2 days away, I think the next year should bring lots of surprises. The downfalls of next year will be when all the current seniors graduate. So many great people are leaving this year. Sergio, Sam, Suji, Sadie, Roxanna, Carlos, Alexy, Josh, Julio, and other people I can't remember right now. It'll be a very sad last few days in June. But we're still in December, so I'll talk about December. This year, there is a pretty nice pile of presents at the foot of the christmas tree. I'm actually looking forward to this christmas. I'm not sure why. It's really hard to type when you're wearing gloves. I dunno, it makes less noise, but it's just a tad bit harder. LOL. Well, what can I say. . .

I'm still thinking about taking the CHSPE and going to PCC next year or something like that. I'm really convinced in taking the CHSPE. I think it's what's best. I know the rest of you will say that I'm making a stupid decision, but why the hell am I taking Advanced math classes, history, and other stupid classes when what I want to do in life is fashion. If I pass a proficiency test and go to a school where I'm focusing on fashion for 2 years and then get out of there and I'll be ready to start in a real fashion school. Then, I'd end up being happy doing what I really want to do. I think high school is just a way to keep kids occupied while they're still minors. Ever noticed that most high school students graduate when they are legally allowed to be on their own. If we're the kids of tomorrow, tomorrow's gonna be a crappy place to live in. High school's don't offer any classes that are going to help you for what you want to do. The only class that comes close to what I want to do is French (which I am currently taking) and commercial design. But those are only one class. Where the fuck am I gonna need Alebra 2 Honors. Where am I gonna need World History. It's not like I'm gonna go up to random people and talk about the past when I want to live in the present and plan for the future. World History in high schools is taught in the point of view of the United States. You don't know if they're teaching the same history in different parts of the world differently, with different facts and different opinions. These history books are made to make the US a great looking country when in fact, it's one of the stupidest countries I've seen. Why the fuck are we trying to help other countries when there are still things we need to fix in our country. Look at Mexico. They're a neutral country. When are they getting terrorist attacks? They may not be rich, but they're happy and they're pleased. Yes, their history started off like crap, especially when that crappy president was in office for a long ass time. But yeah, the US is stupid. Bush is an asshole. And that's all I have to say.

Anyway, back to the high school thing. I don't need to whole high school experience. I think it'd be better if I get out as soon as possible and experience the world from a different point of view. I need to learn the college ways and get used to it cause in 2 years, I'm going to be on my own in a totally different country, so might as well get all the experience I can get. So, CHSPE here I come. I'm taking it in March. Wish me luck. Happy Holidays to you all. And Happy New Year.
