Poetry Time...
Well, Sunday I was pretty bored, so I wrote a lot of poems. I will post a few (three) up today. I hope you like them enough to want to read some more of my work. :)
"What have you done?"
what have you done to me?
a shadow of betrayal as memories scream.
once we savored bliss,
innocent and hand in hand,
but your love perished.
a deadened vision of pain -
tears follow darkness, follow pain,
love burnt to ashes.
in a haze of hatred,
i still love you.
"Alone in Darkness"
The night falls as if slain by the sun, cold and alone are we.
The emotion for which you lust
Flares once, then dies,
Crushed by your obsession.
All hope must surely perish.
Your heart beats no more.
How could you not understand?
Lost souls surround us, crying,
We have lost our light.
"Rememberance of my death"
Around, all around, the shadows gather.
My dread grows as the stroke of death falls against my heart.
It crushes me, and darkly my
Blood drips
To the broken ground.
In my madness I call your name
While death looms.
Now alone, my cry of mercy falls upon cold eyes.
This is your love.
