fall semester
i start my fall schedule today, which means that i work until 7, monday through thursday. it's really boring, but sometimes i watch movies. i was going to watch irreversible today, a french film that alfredo recommended, with monica bellucci in it, but i ended up getting distracted by recipe sites.
tomorrow starts my comparative politics class, and thursday starts my middle eastern civ class. then, next monday starts my 3rd semester spanish class. oceanography doesn't start until october, it's a late start.
last weekend was pretty crazy. brent, chris, and i went to the bar on saturday night, and then alfredo joined us. by the time he had gotten there, i had consumed 4 drinks and 6 shots, which is more than i've ever drank in my life. i get smashed when i have 2 drinks, let alone my grand total of 4 drinks and 8 shots in a period of 2 hours.
needless to say, i felt like i was dead in the morning. alfredo had to leave for work in the morning, but following the advice he gave me before he left, i ate some ramen noodles and drank a lot of water. and napped, of course. he called to check in on me and give me advice while he was at work, which i thought was really cute. then, after work, he came over again, and we went to dinner and saw superbad. that movie was hilarious!
