Whatever

Am I the only one that can tell that the electric guitar is off key? I can't even play a guitar because I never practice, but I can tune one. I had to leave a bar early yesterday because I just couldn't handle more off key music. Well, that and it was my knitting club meeting (yes, we knit in a bar) and we had to sit outside. I have a wonderful piece of advice, don't sit outside in 40 degree weather and crochet or knit. Just don't. It's a really bad idea. Not being able to feel my toes, having to crochet with gloves on, and hearing a really off key electric guitar is just not good stuff.

ON crafting news, I've yet to finish anything. I'm still working on my husband's slippers. Thankfully I'm on the last one and I'm past the half way point. When that's finished I'm going to work on my skull curtain. My window is so naked and sad without a curtain. I'm also working on crochet orchid flowers for my living orchid. The flowers have gone the way of the dodo and there's no telling when it will bloom again, so I'm going to make some flowers that I can attach to the support posts. I found a pretty pattern that I like, and while it goes fast, all the directions are in video format. So odd.

I got some plain Funko Pops for Christmas. I'm really stoked about that. I think I'm going to make a Tank Girl and a Booga. I'm going to base him more off his comic book character and her off Lori Petty's movie character. I'm not sure if I need to use support wire on his ears though. Would I have to drill holes in his head to get the wire in? If I skip the wire and it needs it, they might droop something funky. Plus he has a tail.

I also got the January Smart Art subscription box. I'm not very impressed. It appears to be worth the money I paid for it, but it's just colored pencils, a sharpener, and a sketch book. The color pencils have very soft lead, so that's rather nice to draw with, but not good for fine detail. I think this is my last Smart Art Box, I'm not renewing my subscription. I'd rather go spend $50 a month on whatever I please at the craft store then get stuck with random stuff I'm not excited about.
