In Your Time Of Sorrow
The tears fall from your face
I slowly and gently kiss them away
I kiss your mouth, my pink lips wet
I hold your hand in my own.
My heart breaks as your screams of pain
Are muffled against my pale skin
I kiss you harder, wrapping my free arm
Around your slender form
I murmer I want to take your pain away
I feel your arms entrap me as we both
Fall backwards unto the cool, damp grass
Quiet; We become One in a brief moment,
My lips never for an instant leaving yours
The Full Moon shines upon our nude bodies
No words pass my pale pink lips as you lift
Your head to stare into my dark eyes
Our minds are connected,
No words are required
Your pain becomes mine.
I dig my fingernails into the
Tender thin flesh of your back;
Working to distract us from
The sad tragedy of this new death.
With my now free hand pulled away from yours,
I trace a single line down your beautiful face.
This time, our journey into our Secret Heaven
Is purely for healing.
"No rush", I send silently to your mind.
Your nod of agreement is followed by a slow, soft kiss.
Suddenly, something in the air sends a sense of calm.
"A star." I murmer aloud softly. A shooting star.
You pull away, looking at me with the most serene expression.
"Arise, my love. Our star will be a new happiness."
A tear for death; another for a new life.
The shooting star in the clear night sky brought
Forth the star in my womb, and months later,
Into our life.
