(no subject)
A Shitty Weekend:
Friday-I don't recall what I did after school, but I rode to the Tim Kerr art opening with Hans. We left that, got pizza, then we parted ways at the Repercussions show (not being able to get into Beerland will be a running theme for my weekend). I came home, got picked up by Rusty, went to some gay party. Realized I had a paper due by morning, so I walked home. I eventually started the paper around 3:30 a.m., finishing up just before 7.
Saturday-Woke up around four, got picked up by Wade and Chase around six, ate some cream cheese jalapeno poppers, went to the Defect Defect/Bitch Attack show. After the show, went back to their house. The night may or may not have ended with me telling Chase that I didn't like him (rash statement) and him coming out wanting to fight me. All is resolved now, thankfully!
Today-Woke up, went to eat with Hans and Cat, watched a little of the OC Season 2 DVD boxset I borrowed. At the show on Saturday, I had talked to Ben, who was doing the show tonight, about getting in to see Tiltwheel. He said he would get me in as a roadie. This did not work out, he couldn't get me in- that was a shitty ride home. "Yo, you got embarassed and rejected, now work for it on those going-North-on-Red-River hills." Now, I am eating junk food, listening to Hair Brained Scheme Addicts and getting bummed on life.
In the words of Tiltwheel, "Wonder why I'm so depressed? Fuck the world and then I'll take you with me."
Update:
I rode back to Beerland around midnight and sung along to Tiltwheel songs from the sidewalk. I am not sure if this was more or less of a bummer than not going at all.
