because i think it would a sacrilege to not post about the halloween party:
ashes of an empire was great. really. i thought they'd be pretty good, but they exceeded my expectations by far. stillwell is better than ever, and they got a really good response too. i have pictures of kendra and i in our costumes, but i haven't finished the roll of pictures, so i will post them later. but i did find this on stoneorchids..
i should mention that straylight run, northstar, hot rod circuit, and say anything are playing in jacksonville on november 19th, and i am going. at the moment i am not sure if i will have any extra space in my car, but if i do, i'll be glad to give someone a ride. say anything is the most amazing band i have heard in a long time, and of course the others are good, so i would encourage everyone to go.
my girlfriend was home all last week. it's extremely difficult to be away from a person you care so much about for long periods of time, but i must admit that it makes the time that we are together quite amazing. now she's gone again, and as much as i miss her, i still feel great. it's such a relief to honestly be happy for once.
