BE THE CHANGE

Feb 26, 2005 17:07

I loved challenge day... every thing about it... I couldn't put it into words because I'm not good at doing that but I just wanted to say that I'm so glad I got the opportunity to experience it and to experience it with some of my closest friends.

Just came back from the ACT prep workshop... I was dreading it, but I'm actually glad that I went. The low point of it... when I was running in late (of course) and completely slipped...

no slipped isn't even a strong enough word...

I went airborne.

It was quite like the feeling of doing a "high kick" for those of you who witnessed me accomplish that ripleys-believe-it-or-not moment.

I really look like I must try to hurt myself between the scrapes on my hands and holes in my pants and scrapes on my legs from the fall and my cut and bruise above my eye from where I hit my head attempting to sit in my car...

walking and getting into a car... fairly simple routine tasks for a NORMAL human being...

but for me they are life threatening acts.

-------
oh and sidenote... just because it's funny...

I volunteered to go grab some pizzas for everyone at taylors and so me kyle ryan and amber get into my car and we're driving and everything is good and all of a sudden this gross gagging smell is surrounding us... poor kyle I thought he was going to barf... it was a skunk.

this doesn't seem so bad... it should have passed in a few seconds.

oh no. I must have hit that thing RIGHT ON or re-ran it over because that smell stayed in my car for a good 3 days after. Then kyle tried to get rid of the smell by opening the pizza boxes and wafting the smell around..

bad idea.

then my car smelled like a combination of skunk and pizza. ew.
oh well, at LEAST it was funny.
