WHOA.
WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA.
I am nearly speechless right now.
Okay. I'm going to sound absolutely insane, but I need to say this.
I have found THE GUY.
No, seriously. THE GUY. THE FANDOM TO END ALL OTHER FANDOMS.
Alright.
So, Shannon and I had our second John Cusack Day today (I'll post about that tomorrow). While I was at her house, I asked if she could see who was going to be on the late night talk shows tonight to see if anyone was worth me staying up.
Well, Carson Daly is going to have the fellows from Nobody's Watching on his show.
I don't remember if I told you guys about Nobody's Watching or not. So, here's the story on that: one day, I was surfing around YouTube, trying to watch some video (I think it was a Whose Line video, but I could be wrong). Well, I had no idea what I was doing so I somehow kept ending up on the homepage. There was a link to what was apparently a super-popular video on there. The freeze-frame they had of it (you know how YouTube has a picture to represent the video?) appeared to be a picture of Jon Peter Lewis. My curiosity got the best of me ("WHAT? IS JPL ACTING NOW?! EEE") and I thought, "I've gotta watch this!" It turns out it wasn't Jon Peter Lewis, but it instead was a fellow from the pilot of a new sitcom that the WB picked up but then dropped.
I watched it. I loved it. I loved the boy in it. Whoa boy, did I love the boy in it. And the show itself was actually funny! I hardly ever find modern sitcoms funny, so this was AMAZING. All I could think was "WHY on EARTH did they DROP this?! I would have watched it!"
If you want to give the videos a glance, you can find the episode in three parts
here,
here, and
here. It really is a very funny show! At least, it is in my opinion. And from what I understand, it has become quite an internet sensation. :D
Alright, back to the story.
So, I see that Carson has these two guys from the show on there and I get all excited. But then later, when I got home, I saw a commercial for Carson and it didn't mention them being on. I checked on the Last Call website and did a quick IMDB search for who I believe was the fellow I loved from the show (Taran Killam).
DFKLASJFDSOIRJKLDSFS.
First, yes, they're going to be on the show.
Second,
here is his IMDB entry. Third, sorry for all the links in this post! They aren't actually all that necessary. XD
Fourth, OH MY GOSH, THIS GUY IS MY GUYYYYY!
Okay okay okay. So, I used to watch The Amanda Show because I had this big crush on Drake Bell. I still sort of have a crush on him, but it's under control. Well, when watching it, I discovered that I was also in love with this boy who was occasionally in a skit. THIS IS THE SAME BOY!
ALSO! I was watching MadTV with Hans once (against my will because I really don't like MadTV, haha) and I saw THE BOY FROM THE AMANDA SHOW. I thought, "HEY! That's the awesome boy!" But I didn't know how to go about finding his name and such, so I just kind of thought "Oh well" and left it at that.
AND he's been in a couple of other shows where I remember recognizing him, falling in love with him, not knowing where to start in finding who he is, and giving up.
AND I NEVER MADE THE CONNECTION. I NEVER GOT THE HINT THAT THIS BOY IS DESTINED TO BE MY NEW OBSESSION!
Oh, it gets better.
He was on Undressed.
YES. UNDRESSED. MTV'S UNDRESSED. THE SHOW I USED TO WATCH WHEN I WAS TEN YEARS OLD EVEN THOUGH I DIDN'T UNDERSTAND THE SUBJECT AT HAND. And I had many many many mini-crushes on that show. I'm just wondering if maybe HE was one of them!
And do you want to know what else is weird? His character's name on Undressed was Blake, according to IMDB. AHHHHHHHHH. So weirdddd.
I'll bet I've unknowingly been in love with this boy for the past seven years and I'm only just now realizing it!
And now he's going to be on Last Call with Carson Daly!
Eeeeeeeee!
Alright alright alright alright alrighttt! Last Call is going to start soon so I'm going to go watch it. Hahaha, this post sounds crazy. I just wanted to share this amazing information with you all. Because, of course, it is so amazing. :P
Have an amazing weekend, all. Byeeeee!
Edit: EEE. They were just on! I s'pose they just had a meeting with the NBC-big-shot-guy to see if they could get their show on the air (NBC apparently saw how popular it was on YouTube) and it looks like it's going to be picked up!
...That's what I gathered, at least. I was doing a lot of jumping around and running from the computer to the TV in my room (where I was recording it. Heee, it feels good to have a new obsession), so I could be wrong.
Man, I can't believe I didn't realize that he was The Amanda Show boy. Seeing him now, it's suuuper obvious. XD
How cool would it be if this became a huge show and he became a huge star? And this all happened just as I got into it?
...Okay, well, I actually like him being somewhat obscure. Then I have a better chance of, you know, marrying him.
^_^;
Shutting up for real this time, g'niiight!
