Time for an udpdate
Ok, So I haven't written anything in quite a while so I thought it was time for an update. Well, I was hassled into doing one by a certain individual ;-) I'm sure there is a a lot that I will forget to write, but oh well.
So the Vegas trip was fun. I had such a great time there with Justin. We did a ton of walking and people watching. It had been a while since I was there so it was cool to see what's changed. Definitely good times. I'll definitely have to go back soon.
Phoenix Pride has come and gone as well. This has had to be the best pride that I have been to in Phoenix. Even though phoenix pride is usually boring and full of pointless vendors, I spent it with some cool people and it was worthwhile. The Adonis after-party was fun as well.
School has been going well. I got A's in my last two classes. I guess I’m not so bad at writing essay's as I've gotten a 100% on both essays’ I’ve written so far. I just started two more classes this past Monday so we'll see how that goes. I'm still waiting for my books though :-\ That’s what I get for waiting so long and ordering them from E-Bay rather than the book store I’m supposed to. Spending $100 on books is much better than the $200 I was going to have to spend!
I helped Justin move to ASU West at the end of May. Even though he lives across town, I don't think our friendship will be affected :) We still hang out a lot which is cool. His apartment/dorm room is cool and it's fun to just chill there and hang out.
Work has been going really well. I'm actually doing the best in my entire department and I get praise for it practically every day. It totally fuels this other girl’s anger and jealousy as she strives soo hard to be better than me. Stupid office drama.
I finally got a laptop! I had been searching for months for one. Every time I would find the one I want, it would either have some problem like outrageous shipping or it would sell for way too much. But I finally got lucky and got the model that I wanted for half of what it would have cost. It's nice to be sitting here at Extreme Bean and chatting/updating my journal :) I would be at this place called The Muse, but they shut it down! It was a cute lil coffee shop with free wifi and was 24 hours. Hopefully it'll come back someday or has just moved elsewhere.
Next Friday I leave for a week-long road trip to Wyoming, Salt Lake and hopefully other places with Justin and hopefully Zack. It'll be great! I’m so excited and am WAY overdue for a vacation. This should be a trip to remember :)
