Phantom Rain/ An increasing slope towards optimism

Nov 11, 2005 11:06

I wish it were raining today, so my entry can start with rain.

I'm awake. Graphing calculators are helpful creatures...no killing oneself over a complicated first derivative equal to zero. Imagine the generations before us...does it mean they were brighter, more mentally able? Is technology the source of our collective laziness?

But doesn't it introduce more complicated branches....higher up, metallic and strong. Geniuses know more and more.

Supposedly, in Sci-tech, there is a teacher that knows all his sines and cosines. His mind is a fleshy calculator.

I don't know if that's talent, or just a walking robot. Those sci-fi novels becoming true.

I will think of today as a rainy day. It feels like it. I wallow in wholesome feelings, notebooks, last-minute homework, green, green.
