Rants:
So while browsing the great internet i cam across a site called myspace and on this "website" i came across many kids that are "emo". this made me laugh, because this means that they must not know how to spell or something. i looked up the word and i found this:

(nothing)

Webster you did it again. i have learned so much. Upon thinking about it more i thought that maybe this word was derived of the phrase emotional. only to realize that these cool "scene" kids act like emotionality is actually a genre of music? now how can a feeling, the actual definition of having feelings,  be a genre? what would that say about this world, what would that prove? upon research it also seems that this "genre" has spread even to the fashion scene. Soon this "genre" will infest the hardcore scene.
::edit:: more research has proven to me that this thing has spread to much. new words like emocore, scenecore, fashioncore, scenexcore, screamo, screamocore. post-scream, post screamocore, XXXXXEMOXXXXX. what is going on? why would a musical scene like hardcore succumb to this. like cattle to the slaughter something that once held the strength of devotion and committment has lost it's roots. and for some reason it slowly spreads, it slowly dives deeper. now lyrics have turned from political and personal issues, to problems with women and horrorflicks. bands like cro-mags who stood for hardcore and the devotion of the Krishna have been replaced by the likes of Atreyu and Avenged Sevenfold. yet i can't feel to not have played a part in this. i feel like it is somewhat my fault for seeing it and not trying to stop it. watching labels likve Victory produce 2 quality albums a year, while 12 to 14 more bands release albums on the same label and receive so much praise for creating another Innovative record. INNOVATIVE?!?!?! how does reproducing the same guitar riff in different tunes and on different sections of the fretboard even come close to being anything like innovative. I also feel like i have been brought into this and i have no way.

i have been left in this "scene"

((-more to come later.
