Shocked myself
Shocked to find you guys as well! I'm a little surprised at myself for liking these two so much after extinction. More surprised that I find myself liking these two as a couple or in a deep friendship.
Carlos wasn't liked in the second film for me too much, because I expected a RE3 version but his role in the third somehow won me over from the beginning of Extinction.
I always had a neutral to soft-spot for Alice but she seems more human.
The subtleness and smooth power of suggestion for the two as characters and a deeper connection won me over. Somehow while the creators didn't have an award winning plot, they managed to touch base on the importance of friendships/relationships for a few of the characters without overdoing it and it was lovable.
So what do you like about these two together in any setting?
