long time no talk
i realize i havent posted in a while, guess i haven't had time.
lots going on.
I JOINED THE RUGBY TEAM! i'm so so so so happy about that, cause it's really the only sport i like enough to actually play on a team for, and my mom had been saying no for the longest time, but she FINALLY said yes! Louis is on the team too! i'm trying to work really hard so i can make it to A-Side, even though my endurance is crap right now, i'm going to be running and lifting and generally working out starting a few weeks ago, hopefully getting better and better, and planning on playing for whatever college i go to. Coach Wells even put me at Scrum Half, the position i wanted to play, and i'm actually quite happy about that.
Well I've been talking to Kim for about a month now, and i like her a whole lot. I met her at the Team Goldie show through Mike, Tom and the rest of the guys, and she went to the dance last friday, where we were with each other for the whole night, despite me feeling sick for about an hour of it. we did the whole couples thing i guess, which i feel kinda bad about cause i didn't really get to see any of the guys, but i like spending time with Kim a ton. I'm going over her house tomorrow which i am pretty excited about, and hopefully i can call up a few of the guys and hangout. I plan on asking Kim to my prom eventually, but i have not figured out when to ask her to be my girlfriend.
I had a pretty tough weekend that just passed, I had rugby practice on friday, before the dance, so if you can imagine, by the end of the night my legs killed me, and i just came home and passed out. and then on saturday I worked on my research paper all day, which was insane, and I got the bulk of it done. then that night I went to the Grange with Mike, Tom, Adam, and Kevin. Playing there was Bury your Dead, Emmure, With Blood Comes Cleansing, and some other bands. Emmure definitely stole the show in my opinion, they played great, and i got one of their shirts at the end of the show. Came home and talked to Kim for a bit then passed out again.
On Sunday I had my first rugby game!! I was a little nervous about it but pretty excited too. The A Side played first and they played great, and beat South Jersey. South Jersey didn't have enough players for a B Side team, so a few guys from our team played with them. Coach made me play Flanker for the first half of the game, which is the same position Ponge plays, so if you can imagine, I am nowhere as built as he is, and i didn't know what i was doing so i didn't play so great first half. Second half was a lot better for me though because I was playing the position I was supposed to be playing, and I had been playing that position at practice. I made a few really good tackles, and i think I did alright when it came to getting the ball out of rucks and giving it to the team. We lost by one try, but I think we did good considering it was most of our first games. When i came home i finished that damn research paper and i'm so glad i'm done!
Now I'm on break and i'm hungry as hell, so i'm getting food, calling adam, and playing xbox with that nugget.
