My advice to you because I’ve been through both flat track AND banked track fresh meat practices before, is to build your endurance. Do a lot of sprint/jog/sprint/jog type things. Sprint full force for two minutes (YOUR jams on flat track are two minutes long, ours are one), then rest thirty seconds. Do lunges, crunches, tons of jumps/plyometrics. That will prepare you. We do jump in skating drills, and we do falling drills where you need leg strength to fall and get up right away using one leg.

i actually was right in front of you and there was talk of the cookies at Wump. i didnt want to be like "oh hi's i knows you from zee interweb, nice to meetz yew!!!" it is odd because i dont even remember what made me add your journal forever ago and then i found out you knew rose, so i didnt want you to think i was some weird stalker chick. i mean i am a weird stalker chick, but not in this instance... yet :)
