The Bonex Kids~Chapter 1

Apr 18, 2009 12:27

Seriously, I'll stick with this one as long as I can I have ADD when it comes to sims :P

The story of a literally tortured girl and her tortured "family" trying to get a normal life after being experimented on for the sake of dangerous science.

Sooooo....this is actually my story. I know that sounds all cliche and stupid, but really, this is my life. Well, before my first 15 years. Those I'm not to happy about, nor do I want to talk about them. But, for a quick little summary, I was kept locked up in a cell at some weird moon base (like the Death Star) for the first 14 years of my life. I met a bunch of kids there, but a lot of them died. There were a few people that survived the torture we had to go through, and they are now my family.

Yeppers. That's me. Yes, I'm green. Yes, I have purple eyes and hair. It's whatcha get for being experimented on for years! My "name" is Jenny. The name they gave me at the base was some weird code name, and Luther let me pick a real name, so I picked Jenny.

That there is Cameron. We call him Cam for short. Cam is green as well, but is more normal looking that I am. He's still got purple eyes, but he doesn't freak out when he looks at them in the mirror.

That's Viola. If you pronounce her name wrong, she'll hit ya. But, funny thing is, she never tells us what way to pronounce it! Yeah....she's kinda a bitch...She's one of the smartest ones of us here, which comes handy sometimes, like when we're kil-...I'll tell ya' later.

These are the little kids. They're not little, but smaller.

Lucy is such a sweetheart. But, GOD, can she talk! She's better than a regular beepin' alarm clock! But, she's such a beautiful girl. I can't believe she is so strong after what has happened to her. She needs a better life than this.

...Oh yeah. I'm sorta the mom here. Sure, Cam is older than me by about 3 months, but he said he didn't want to lead anybody. Cam would make an excellent president.

Lewis is quiet....sorta. If Lucy isn't near him, he doesn't like to talk. Well, if none of us are near him, he shuts up. But most times, he's loud. He and Lucy are fantastic friends and are connected the butt/hip.

Now that. That is Luther. He's kinda our dad. But, none of us are related at all. He helped us escape the base and has kept us well hidden for the year we've been away. The best thing about Luther, is that he doesn't act like a parent at all. Sure, he'll tell us if we're too loud, sometimes tells us to go to bed, but he's pretty mellow. I love him.

But, if you make a pirate joke about his eye patch, he does not take it well. No way, Jose. He goes on and on about how it wasn't his choice and shouldn't make fun of appearances, blah blah blah. Most of us never slip up anymore, but just last week Luther suggested we watch some weird pirate movie with these annoying British people and Lewis wanted to know if Luther was in it. 'Course, Luther can't yell at cutey little Lewis, but he sure yelled at me this one time, bit that's a totally different story.

"Hey guys! Whatcha doing?" Luther asked later that night. "Viola, what are you watching?"

"Oh...some weird show with stupid girls. It's pretty funny actually." The t.v. flashed to a bunch of girls in tiny bikinis, drinking and making out with everybody.

"Aren't there little kids present, hun?" Luther glared at Viola with his eye. He may not have both eyes, but when he gives you that menacing stare, you really have no choice but to do what he says. Maybe that's why they gave pirates eye patches...cause they really enhance your scary factor.

"OH GOD DAMMIT!" Lewis yelled out. Luther spun around at him and gaped.

"Lewis, where did you learn that?" he tried as hard as he could to remain calm.

"Is it a bad word?" Lewis gave Luther his best puppy dog eyes.

"Where did you learn it?" Luther asked again.

"Cam..." Lewis managed above a whisper. Cam seemed to have a problem with the profanity. We picked up a lot of pretty awful things, including the little kids. Lewis is only 11, and Lucy is 10. They really don't know any better.

Luther turned around and faced Cam, who was on the ground by the video games. He glared at him. Cam sat, unmoving, just staring back at Luther. It wasn't a mean stare, just kinda blank. It was weird.

"What did we discuss only a week ago!?" Luther tried to ask calmly.

"I need to watch my mouth or use different words..." Cam murmured. Luther nodded and sat down on the couch next to Viola.

"Lewis, Lucy. Go get ready for bed please." Luther said. He wasn't angry, he just seemed kinda sad. Lewis and Lucy shuffled out, closing the door quietly behind them.

"Cam," Luther began. "I don't want to have this conversation again, understand?" Cam nodded.

"Luther?" I asked. He looked at me. "I-Is something wrong?" He smiled at me.

"No, dear. I'm just tired is all. Guys it's late. Go get ready for bed and don't stay up too late talking, 'kay?" We all nodded. Luther got up and headed to his room downstairs. He made it clear that we would NEVER go in there. Plus, we couldn't get in there because the door was locked. Viola left next, cause she always had to shower at night. Cam and I stayed there on the floor.

"Sooo..." I began. Cam jumped up and put his fists at the ready.

"Come on. Up." He commanded. I got up and put my fists up as well. He punched me in my arm, playfully.

"Don't you dare say I deserved that!" He said.

I was confused. Usually I can figure out what's going on, but teenage boys were a complete mystery.

"What?"

"You can't say I deserved being yelled at by Luther!" Cam said again. OOOOHHHH! Got it.

"Oh, yeah, well, you have to have admit that I kicked your ass at video games tonight!" I shot back and punched him harder than I was going to.

"OW! Sweet motherfuc-....ouch." He caught himself. What a good boy!

"Oh, good job! I can't imagine what would come spewing out of your mouth!" I punched him playfully on the face and walked out. It was soooo awesome being the leader.

Usually, Cam put the kids to bed. He just insisted on doing it every night.

And most nights, Lucy and Lewis were found jumping on their beds. But they actually listened to Cam and went to bed. It was amazing.

After that, neither of us girls are in our room, so he just changes in there. Next, Viola comes in, then me. Every single night, without fail, we three sit on our respective beds and talk. It changes daily. Most times it's about how stupid people are, or politics.

Cam will usually try and flaunt his chest, which does nothing for either of us girls. He said he just hates shirts...or something stupid.

Viola sits like some preppy Malibu Barbie chick. She's fallen off the bed a few times, which was absolutely hilarious. She says she doesn't need her glasses, but she can't really see that well without them.

Viola makes fun of me and how I sit. Years of torture have worn on me, and now I sit really tensed up. But, I'm relaxed in my mind if that helps...which it doesn't. Viola mocks me more for that than my sitting.

We talk for only about 20 minutes. The longest was about 3 hours. After we're done talking, we turn our the lights, and are asleep instantly. If we don't talk, we can't sleep.

THE NEXT MORNING

************************************************************************************************

We have never gone to school. We're multicolored and have weird eyes. No way could we go without being reported then the base will find us and they'll probably kill us. So, no school! But, usually everyday, during school hours, we go out to a park. Or just wherever we feel like. But today, Lewis and Lucy stayed behind at the park we were at. It was only 1:00, but Viola, Cam and I wanted to head back home.

***********************************************************************************************

"You're absolutely sure about this?" Derek asked Susanna. "What if the freak kids are home? Won't they try and whoop our asses?" Susanna hissed at him.

"So what? You'll have died with me. Plus, those kids can't do a thing to us. We're basically indestructible." Susanna retorted.

"Now come on. The sun hurts." Susanna commanded. Derek nodded. They ran as stealthily as they could up to the house. The door was unlocked, just as planned. Susanna stepped in and heard piano music being played.

She turned and saw Luther playing the piano.

"Luther." Derek yelled. Luther turned around to face Susanna and Derek.

"We agreed, I understand."

"I'm so glad you fall so easily when it comes to your children." Susanna hissed. Luther frowned.

"Those poor children don't deserve to be cooped up with your horrible species." Luther spat.

Susanna crouched down and put her arm defensively over her face. Luther chuckled.

"Alright, go ahead."

"What? You're not going to put up a fight?" Derek casually asked. Luther shook his head. "Darn, I would want to tell that purple haired bitch you died heroically, but oh well. Works better this way."

With that, Susanna and Derek descended upon Luther Bonex.

************************************************************************************************

The second we stepped into the house, I knew something was wrong. I'm pretty sure Viola and Cam felt it as well. I took a whiff to make sure nothing was burning or anything, but I smelled blood, and it was strong. I rounded the corner to the piano where Luther was always at, and found his dead body, with blood surrounding it. We all gasped.

We gathered around at his body and flipped it over.

I closed my eyes trying to keep back tears. Cam had the angriest scowl I had seen in a long time. Viola's mouth was wide open, still in shock. We all sort of sat there for another half hour. I hear a loud giggle from across the yard. Viola got up and faced the opposite wall. Cam turned to face the bookcase by him. I walked up to the window watching Lewis run up the stairs. How were the kids going to take this? I could barely take this, and I was 15!

************************************************************************************************

It was around 11 pm when the kids had finally calmed down enough to go to bed. They marched up the stairs, still sniffling. I watched them go with a broken heart.

Viola grabbed me and hugged me.

"I'm gonna go to bed. I don't think there's a point in talking, no one's going to get any sleep tonight, anyway." I nodded. She climbed up the stairs slowly. She stopped about mid-way and pointed to Cam. I nodded solemnly.

"Hey Cam..."

I saw his shoulders shaking slightly. Crossing the room in 3 HUGE strides, I grabbed his shoulders. He was crying!

Oh boy, this made my broken heart worse. I had never seen Cam cry in my entire life...except for once when they broke his bones for fun. That was pretty bad.

Naturally, this was awkward. I had never had to comfort him, and I had never had to comfort a teenage boy! I didn't know where to put my hands, but it looked like Cam didn't really care. I stood there, quietly, waiting for Cam to calm down. He finally did after about 5 minutes.

He grabbed me in a full on hug. Pressing his Cam-ness up against me. He pulled back suddenly and just walked upstairs, without another look at me or Luther's body.

This is where it gets really weird and difficult.
