Meet Derpy.
He is made mostly of old T-shirts and scraps of cloth. I made him the day after I lost a bid war for a minky Magikarp Pokedoll. Without thinking, I quickly got old t shirts from my closet and cut them up. I thought that I could at least make something to distract me for the time being. But after a while I thought to myself, "Hmm... he is turning out better than I imagined!" He took me around a week straight to make. It was a painful/somewhat bloody process not to mention an eyesore because of the stitching of the scales T-T... but he was worth it!
This is his new home :) My Applause Dratini is keeping him company while newer stuff come in. I used old Pokemon video cassettes *is what what you would call them?* as a shelf because:
A. They are sturdy.
B. They are Pokemon related.
C. They match Magikarps!
Arn't they cute?
Update: 10/23/12
Shining Magikarp/shining Gyarados clearfile just got in the mail from Pokevault! I'm so glad that Brian shipped it in a box instead of an envelope :) pheww
And two other packages came in! I want to thank you
mawaru for the Milotic and Magikarp kid <3 and thank you
akeyma for the Magikarp sleeve. Absolutely gorgeous~ The Magikarp time strap was the first ever Magikarp merch that I bought online ^^ I wasn't a big fan of other products besides the Pokedoll. I guess this was one of the reasons I fell in love with him again. The shining Magikarp card was from my cousins in New York since they don't play Pokemon anymore. Thank youu.
