I want to drop out of Digipen. I should have gone to an illustration school like Ringling, Otis, or SCAD. But I can't. I can't and it's too late. I don't regret being here but I should be elsewhere.

I didn't always want to be a programmer, you know. Art has always been my fallback plan in case I didn't like programming, but I hever took enough art classes during high school to be good enough to go to one. :[

This has more to do with my parents. I had a hard enough time convincing my dad to let me go. If I told him now that I wanted to switch schools, he'd fly up and punch my face out and sell me to get all his money back. And even if i decided to do this on my own he'd still fly up and kick my ass.

If I had a choice I would probably drop out right now and apply to one of the schools I mentioned. I realize I can still get into concept art even with an animation degree simply if I can draw well enough when I get out but I guess I'd rather not do 3 more years of stuff that doesn't directly relate to what I want to do.

I have no car to get up to your place when you guys had hang outs.( I was at Doug's and didn't want to bother Romina to pick me up) I also didn't know. I missed Keenan and Andrew's getogether and that made me sad :/
