Man...

Pulp Fiction is a pretty good movie, it's a shame that some of my friends don't have long enough attention spans to watch the movie without messing around and having to rewind badass scenes like Bruce Willis running over black people with his car.  Good job...

Well, there's one line in particular that I liked; the one where Uma is talking to Travolta and goes something like: "Why do people feel like they have to constantly yak about stuff to be comfortable?  That's when you know you've got someone special, when you can just shut the fuck up...and comfortably enjoy a silence."  That line right there is pretty brilliant.  I mean, it seems right.  Although being able to talk to someone is pretty damned important, being able to just sit with someone and not say a word at all- comfortably- sounds like a pretty important quality as well.  Silences are normally awkward, but why so?  Hmm...is it because we feel that when aren't saying anything that the other person is uncomfortable, so we feel the need to fill the silence?  Perhaps words simply put people at ease.  Or maybe I like the sound of your voice?  Yeah, I bet that's it right there.

First day of school is coming up...as long as Ted isn't in our 3rd period English class to drive Mrs. Skillern crazy, it should be the best class ever.  EVER!  Chris V, David, Scott, Tucker, and Chris P (as TA), and that's all I know so far.  Whoo, can't wait.

I learned a new word today.  It's "nukka".  I don't really know what it means...and it's not in the dictionary.  Hmm...maybe I should find out what it means first before I post this.  Too late.
