arthur alligood wrote this in his blog and it made me feel happy that he thought of our audience like that. i totally love him a lot and i've been wonderful friends with him for a very long time. him and his wife are always very good company and great conversation.
"Played in the thriving metropolis of London, KY last night. There were a bunch of kids at least 70 or so which is a lot for this town. I was the only one with a acoustic guitar and didn’t play till like 10 or so. They all pulled the couches up close to the stage and listened. The venue is called the New Life Center and last night was the final show. They are shutting down for some reason. Anyways, it was so cool to be able to close the night out. A guy named Brent recorded the whole thing on his computer and he burned me a copy. I am going to put it on Purevolume in the next couple of days.
I have played in many venues, in front of many crowds, but never did I feel more accepted(and repsected) than I did last night.
The biggest applause of the night was when I sang the ABC song. It was a request. It went well if I do say so myself. "
many of the happiest nights of my life have been the ones where me and my daddy would see Arthur play... i hope this isn't the last time i see that wonderful man. and i hope to see his wife soon too.
i cannot wait to get back to florida.
