Things Ive learned
I learned today that it is ok to get pissed off while doing bills....Crumble the bill up, throw it accrossed the room and kick the bleach bottle half way accrossed the livingroom. Do whatever it is that you feel like doing as long as in the end, the bills get paid and you move on. Go through the bill box and thow all the crap that you cant pay right now out of the box and on to the floor, focus on what you can pay and get it done. The rest will just have to wait until next time. Eventually, the bills will get paid and everything will be ok again. Living on your own is hard. No one ever said it was going to be easy. . . Just dont, under any circumstances, get mad at your better half. They are feeling just as shitty as you are at that moment and really, its not more ones fault than the other. Just remember, at the end of the day, when youre lying down to go to sleep, that you love eachother and just having someone to love and that loves you back, makes you the richest person in the world. I wouldnt care if I was living in a cardboard box down on Hines Drive, as long as I had Brian there with me to keep me warm at night.
