其实不想走

A rather amazing song by Emil (周华健) I just had to translate it, as it's one of my all time favorite 90s chinese pop songs.

其实不想走 (I actually don't want to go)

你总是说我在
这样孤单时候
才会想与你联络
You usually say that when I am lonely like this
Only then will I wish to talk with you
然而谈的情
说的爱不够(3)
说来就来
说走就走(4)
yet the feelings we talk of
-say that the love is not enough
When told to come, come
When told to go, go
怎么会不懂我
怎么会不知道
女人的心是脆弱
How can you not understand me
How can you not know
Women's hearts are frail
寂寞不是我不能够忍受
只是每一天我想你太多
Loneliness isn't something that I cannot tolerate
Only that everyday I think of you too much

其实不想走
其实我想留
留下来陪你
每个春夏秋冬(2)
I actually don't want to go
I actually want to stay
Stay with you through every season
你要相信我
再不用多久
我要你和我今生一起度过
You can trust me
that after not long
I will want to spend this life with you

(1)其实 is a very annoying word to translate- it translates to something like 'in reality, in general, or the truth is' but I felt that much too wordy, so 'actually' came to be used.
(2) 春夏秋冬- translates literally to 'spring summer fall winter' again, I use 'seasons' here. While in chinese, our love of 4character phrases sounds lovely and poetic, translated literally, sounds much too wordy in a song.
(3)然而谈的情。。。- This was a bit hard to translate as there was no subject in the text. Assuming that it would imply the speaker and his/her loved one, it came out something like 'but when (we)spoke of (our)feelings, (you?I?we?)said love was not enough/there was not enough love.
(4)‘说来就来。。。。说走就走’was the hardest to translate- lit. it comes out as 'say come then come say go then go, but again, no subject is in the sentence, so in such a context, it could also mean (I/you)tell (you/me) to come, then (you/I) come, (I/you) tell (you/me) to go, (you/I)go.
