How Did That Happen?

Lilah and I had lots of fun with Xander chained up to a chair beside the bed. It didn't take him long to wake up, either, and it didn't take me long to realize that he was watching me just as much as he was watching Lilah, even if he was trying to pretend that he was watching neither of us. I'm sure that someone believed that, but it wasn't either

I'd had a great night with Wes after we chained Xander up and let him watch us,and I was enjoying a nice sleep wrapped up in Wes' arms when Angelus started screaming and yelling about Giles. I looked over at Wes. "What happened?" I didn't move to get up yet though.

"I think Giles escaped during the day," I said, starting to get up. "If we don't get up, I believe that Angelus will find a way to wake us up, and we probably won't like it."

I sighed and rolled my eyes as he talked about Angelus finding a way to get us up. "Oh.. wait I thought he tortured him so much that actually running away wasn't an option?" I asked him as I stayed where I was.

"You'd think that he would have at least broken a leg or two," I told her, going toward the closet to get some clothes to wear. I would be worried that Willow may have come, but we would have woken up for that.

"Yeah you'd think so, personally I think he's getting soft in his old age." I said as I laid back against the headboard watching Wes search for clothes,then change. I'm not planning on moving until I really have to.

I chuckled when she said that Angelus was getting soft in his old age. "I'll go look in and see how much of a fit he's really throwing," I said as I pulled a shirt over my head.

"Alright I'll be here when you get back." I told him with a smile. I really don't intend to get up until I know just how much of a fit Angelus is in. I know I probably should go with Wes,but I honestly could care less about why Angelus is throwing a tantrum.

I didn't exactly expect her to get out of bed right away. "I'll let you know if you need to come up," I said and headed out the door, heading over to Angelus's rooms.

I nodded and watched him leave,then I sat in bed and waited to hear Angelus start shouting again,maybe throwing things around.

I walked up toward Angelus's room, to find him throwing things around in frustration. "Lose something?" I asked innocently.

Angelus looked at him and snarled. "Don't get cute you know exactly what I'm pissed about." He looked at him then around the room. "Where's Lilah?" He asked him when he noticed that she wasn't next to him.

"She's still getting dressed," I said quickly. "How did he get out?"

Angelus nodded and looked at him. "I don't know,but you're both going to help me find him."

[wes_thewatcher]

I nodded. I didn't expect any less. "We both know who he went back to, or is at least trying to get back to," I said. Willow. He was heading for Willow, and we needed to stop that.

Angelus nodded and got dressed. He was going to find the watcher then break his legs for this. He looked at Wes. "Go check on faith I'll go get our girl out of bed." With that he went to go get Lilah.

"Fine," I said, leaving. I hate that he orders me around like I'm some sort of kid. Still, to make sure that Faith was where I left her was a good idea. I went down to the basement to find her right where I left her, unconscious. "Wakey wakey, Faithy," I said, holding my hand over her mouth and pinching her nose so she couldn't breathe.

Angelus finished getting dressed and walked into Wes and Lilah's room. "Alright, time to get up," he said, walking in and yanking the cover off of her.
