Angelus seemed to get the message. I kept him on his toes by doing simple things like feeding Buffy and occasionally paying attention to her, and he remembered to leave Lilah the hell alone. When Wes told me about Buffy's little group trying to locate her I wasn't thrilled at all. It was around night time when he told me. "Does Angelus know about this? And how long do we have before her little crack team finds us?" I asked him.

"I haven't seen him today, so I haven't had the chance to tell him," I told her. "They only know that *Angelus* is in England. As far as my sources can tell, they don't even know that we're involved." Why should they? We killed to two little potentials with her.

"Besides, this place is warded against little witches using beacons. She won't be able to trace it exactly here, at any rate. They'll probably think she's over in London."

I nodded when he said that he hadn't seen Angelus yet today. "Well at least they think that he's alone here with her, and that the witch can't detect us." I smiled and kissed him.

I kissed her back. "I took care of that," I told her. While I may not be as powerful as Willow, I've learned plenty of things over the years that she has yet to even think of. Raw power doesn't always make up for knowledge, and I have plenty of that.

"We'll take care of this, but we'll have to be careful for a while." Which somehow meant that we needed to explain this to Mr. Bull in a China Shop himself the art of subtlety.

"Good." I kissed him back. "Sure careful no problem, so who's going to tell Angelus that they know he's here?" I asked somewhat amused.

I sighed. I was not looking forward to having to do that. "I can, if you'd like. He just needs to be told as soon as he gets here, as long as he hasn't done something stupid like lead them here in the process."

"Well I could tell him, if you'd rather?" I told him. I know how much he *loves* dealing with Angelus, plus Angelus doesn't always listen to Wes. "I'm sure he wouldn't lead them here at least not on purpose."

"No, he wouldn't do it on purpose..." But he might do it by just being careless. That wouldn't shock me at all. "If you don't mind telling him." He does listen to her a little better.

I nodded when Wes said that Angelus wouldn't leadBuffy's friends here on purpose. "Sure I'll tell him." I said with a small smile, besides he listens to me better most of the time anyway.

I heard the door shut downstairs. "Well, speak of the devil," I said, inwardly smiling at the thought of Angelus being the devil. He would probably like that comparison. I'm sure it wouldn't be the first time that he heard it. "I'd say take your time telling him, but it's kind of important that he knows soon."

I smiled and started down the stairs to meet Angelus. "I'll be back in a bit." I walked into the living room a few moments later. I looked over at Angelus. "We need to talk."

I nodded to her and continued with the little bit of planning that we really could do for this. Upping security and the like.

Angelus looked at Lilah when she came down. "Yeah, we do," he said to her when she told him that they needed to talk. "Someone tried to tail me on the way back here. Luckily, I was able to lose them."

"Yeah Buffy's little group of friends know that you're in town. Wes is working on upping the security and they only know you're in London, they don't know that we're here too." I explained.

Damn, he was starting to think that as well. Didn't really matter, though. Wasn't like they were going to get her back, if she'd even recognize them. "Well, good to know that they don't have quite the right location yet." It took them forever to find him again in Sunnydale, so he figured that they had a little while.

Angelus slipped an arm around Lilah's waist as she moved closer. "We'll just have to prepare a few good welcoming gifts for them when they start to figure things out then, won't we?" He wasn't too worried about what would happen.
