After only spending a few days in Italy, we were once again on the move. One would think that Angelus was on the run from something, or even someone. I remember thinking how strange it was that we had skipped over all his and my old acquaintances in Sunnydale, and now he was acting as if someone was on his trail? It wasn't long before we left Italy. Wes seemed to think that Angelus was running from something or someone. I wasn't convinced that it was anything like that, I think that Angelus was just bored. He does seem to have a short attention span. Now we're in Madrid, which is lovely really, and there's so much to do, and eat. I can't help,but notice Wes' quietly seething though, from what 'daddy' did. I can tell that he's not mad at me though,which is a plus.

I finished unpacking and went to find Wes to go out for the night.

I had just finished dressing for the night, wearing a blue silk shirt and a pair of black slacks. Thinking on it, I remember Cordelia buying me this shirt. She said something about it bringing out my eyes and that I shouldn't wear those 'stuffy' suits all the time. I grinned at the thought.

I turned when I heard Lilah come into the room. "Are you ready to go out for the night?"

I walked into the room just in time to see Wes attempting to fix his hair. He was standing in front of the mirror. "What're you trying to do? Yeah I'm ready. Angelus is already off doing.. well I'm not sure what exactly."

"Sorry Lilah, but not all of us wake up in the evenings perfectly groomed like some people I know." It's not like I can look in the mirror to try and make myself look decent, either, with no reflection and all. I think Angelus's hair fanaticism passed on through Lilah to me.

Speaking of Angelus... "Our darling father figure has wandered off for the evening?" Not too shocking.

I smiled at wes as he started to complian that he didn't get up every night fully groomed and ready to go. I kissed him. When he asked about Angelus I nodded. "Yeah I'm sure he'll be back later." I smiled at him.

Satisfied with how I looked, I turned to her and kissed her back. "Well, let's get out of here, shall we? Are you feeling anywhere in particular tonight?" I smiled at her and led her out of the room.

I smiled and kissed him back, then followed him out of the room. I linked my arm with his as we walked down the hall and out into the fresh night air. "I don't care where we go." I told him with a smile. I was half hoping that we might run into Angelus,but I wasn't about to tell Wes that.

"Let's just start off with a walk and see here it takes us. How's that?" When she linked arms with me, we walked out the door and into the hall. We walked out of the hotel and into the night. We hadn't been walking too long on the streets when we ran into Angelus.

Angelus had been out, wanting to get a bite to eat. Once he was done with that, he decided to explore the city a little before going back to the hotel to see what Lilah and Wes were up to. He could tell that Wes was upset with him over Lilah, but he figured that he'd get over that eventually. When he ran into the two of them on the street, he smiled. "Hey guys, getting dinner?"

I looked at him as he asked his question, I nodded in response. It sounded like a great idea. I kissed him again, just as Angelus showed up again. "Yeah we were just about to.." I smiled at him and moved away from Wes and over to him.

"Well, I know of a few good places if you two are interested." Angelus grinned at them, putting his arm around Lilah when she moved closer to him. He knew how much things like that pissed Wes off, and he would get a funny look on his face and all he wanted to do was laugh.

I gritted my teeth when Lilah moved to Angelus from me. Why was she doing that? Did she just want to make me angry. "We were out for a walk first, but where do you know of?"

I noticed Wes' reaction to my moving closer to Angelus,and Angelus putting his arm around me. "We're interested." I answered for the two of us. "Just lead the way." I smiled. I know Wesley's mad that I'm fine with what Angelus did,but he'll get over it eventually.

"Just follow me, kids." Angelus soon took them to a street fair, which was overflowing with people. A couple wouldn't really be missed, as long as no one screamed too much. All of the noise blocked the ability to hear one voice over it, though.

I begrudgingly went along with Angelus, since I seemed to have been outvoted two to one. If I had to deal with this for an eternity, I was going to stake him myself.

I just smiled and followed Angelus through the fair. The place was perfect, loud and crawling with people. I stayed close to Angelus as we moved through the crowd.

After a few moments it didn't take long to find a quiet couple standing near an alley. "They look pretty good." I told Angelus as I leaned in close.

Angelus nodded. "They do look like they wouldn't make too much of a fuss." He turned to Wes. "What do you think. Are they keepers?"

I had to admit, this was a good place to hunt. Still, I wouldn't go as far as to tell him that. I looked over at the couple Lilah pointed out. "They'll do nicely." They didn't look like they would scream too much, more going quietly into that good night.

I smiled happy that the boys agreed with me. I went with Angelus and pulled the couple into the alley. After I finished mine off, Angelus pulled me over to him and kissed me. I felt myself being pushed up against the brick wall. "Right here in front of of.." I started to ask,before another kiss cut me off.

When Lilah finished with hers, I grabbed it to toss it in a dumpster. When I returned, Angelus had her pushed up against the wall. "Just couldn't wait until we got out of a public place, could you?"

Angelus broke away mid-kiss and turned to Wes. Was he trying to stake a claim now? "How can I resist? I mean, she's quite a catch, Wes."
