yeah..i would say higher contrast...what contrast filter were you using?

o hmm...then i would assume that a 3 contrast filter would probably be perfect.

i acutally think maybe 4 (maybe 3.5) would do the job.
the high contrast is needed to make sure her sweatshirt doesnt mix with the shadows.

personally, I think it looks fine the way it is. The mesh of the girl and the church makes the "meaning" of the picture so much more important.
As if she is supposed to be there, but only her mind woke up and realized where she was, and has begun to question her body's placement.

Overall, I think the picture could have been improved with a different outfit on the girl and a different background. Perhaps if there were candles behind her, in the right corner of the photo.

but. yeah. i'll shut up.

Yeah i wanted this photo to have softer tones to give it a sort of phlegmatic/spacy flow, i experimented with more contrast and it seemed to take away the effect. As for the outfit and background there wasnt much i could do, it was a candid shot she was in the process of praying. But thanks a ton for taking time to look and analyze my photo :)
