Well, that CPU is dead. The machine dumped this morning around 3, and when it dumped again around noon it never came back. I tried just powercycling it and it lasted <3 minutes. I've now yanked the bad CPU, moved CPU1 to CPU0's slot, booted back up. The brackets for retaining CPU1 are bent, the chassis is toast. So even with a second 400 MHz CPU, I can't install it. If I have to go further on this platform I'll have to swap the chassis out for my spare. That'll be a couple hours of downtime. Of course, I just took 6 hours of downtime, so what's a couple more.
