First, and foremost, I would like to state that a person's choice of clothing has nothing whatsoever to do with vicious will. Censorship is not right. Who has the right to decide what is and is not acceptable? What happened to freedom of speech? Artists take their talent and use it to express themselves, yet society can ban certain works of art because it is too explicit for their liking. Fuck censorship.
Secondly, our school, a public school, has no right to tell a certain group of people that they can no longer dress the way they see fit. To me, saying I cannot wear the clothes I do, is both denying my personality and discriminating against me for simply being the person I am. How does clothing, or music choice for that matter, have anything to do with someone making a stupid choice? If I was walking down the hall next to a girl wearing an Abercrombie t-shirt, and she happened to be saying that she was thinking about shooting up the school, who do you think we be called into the office, her or I? Wearing a certain color doesn’t make a person the way they are, because colors do not influence minds.
