playing out last night
did so for the first time in 3.5 years...
i just went back and checked my LJ posts to verify this. yup... holy crap, didnt realize it had been so long. maybe there is a stray show somewhere in there since then and im missing it, but still. wow.
anyways, i only got two songs done:
"Driver 8" (REM)
"Straight to Hell" (drivin n cryin)
and i blew goats on both of them. im so used to playing against drum machines and computer files, playing with real people again was mind blowing, haha. im going to try again next tuesday, maybe. it was still fun to hang out with my pal Dan the Man before he moves back to Wisconsin. hopefully, he and i can play a tune or two together next week before he goes for good.
