whats up all? well, quite a bit has been going on here lately. i had prom on friday, and although it turned out alright, i really think fate did not want us(me, miriam, and crystal) to go to prom. lol. i no longer have my car *tear* because on friday afternoon on my way to get my hair done, i got into a car accident. tyrell, crystal and miriam were all in the car with me. we were on the highway, and we came around this bend, and out of nowhere there was bumper to bumper traffic. the speed limit is 65 now, so yeah. i tried to slow down....but the brakes on my car didnt work. not to mention the two front tires had no grip on them because they were so old. and on top of all that, the air bags didnt work either. so after i realized the car wasnt going to stop, i tried to turn off the road, but i didnt make it. my car hit the minivan in front of me. my head hit the steering wheel, and so did my chest. thank god all of us had our seat belts on, because we probably wouldnt be here. there was a woman and her 4 year old daughter in the car that i hit. thank god they werent hurt either. my car was totaled, so my mom had to come pick us up...after all the paperwork and stuff was finished, we were late for our hair appointment, but we went anyway. they managed to squeeze us in, and yeah. prom turned out to be great though...i had a lot of fun. kevin was there :) and i got to take a couple of pictures with him. i was in heaven. lol. and our prom song was "heaven" by bryan adams. after prom was over, we went to a hotel room and got drunk...it was me, crystal, miriam, tyrell, and brandon. today, we were supposed to go to six flags, but we couldnt because i didnt have a car to drive. so yeah...im still pretty much in a state of shock. its like...i could have killed my 3 best friends, and some woman, and a little girl. everyone keeps saying that it wasnt my fault that the brakes didnt work, and if anything i saved their lives by trying to turn off the road. and i guess maybe they're right in a way...if we would have went head on into that car im not sure we'd still be here. i just still cant believe what happened. it all happened so fast. so much can happen in a split second. but in a way, it brought us all closer...me, crystal and miriam are closer friends than ever...being in a situation like that- where your life could have been taken away from you unexpectedly, just makes you really think and realize that fighting over stupid things just isnt worth it. you gotta live every day like its your last ya know? anyways, i gotta go now. lol. leave comments.
