Louden Swain and Jason Manns in Berlin!

Nov 02, 2011 22:40

I'll never ever forget the 1st November 2011.
It was one of the best days of my life.
When I read about Chuck's band coming to Berlin for a concert a while ago, I was like: Whaaa? He sings? Okay...

A few days later, I listened to a few songs of him and was surprised. He sounded good.

I thought about it for a week and then decided, that I wanna go hear them. So I bought my ticket. 20pounds.

A few days later, rogueevents announced that Jason Manns was joining the tour of Louden Swain and I was like: Uh, you know him. Yeah, he was at the convention you have on DVD. He is that funny guy who teased Misha.
A  few hours later, I remembered he was the one who sang with Jensen on another con. The weight was the song. And I fell in love with it back then. But, who cares for the chorus-guy when JENSEN is singing? No-oneXDDD

Yesterday was the day when they finally came. I listened to "A brand new hurt" of Louden Swain for a few weeks now and was becoming more and more obsessed with Rob Benedict (Yeah, I'll never ever gonna forget this name again).

When I arrived at the "Privat-Club" (translated, it means private club, so same a english) I was like: Ouch, such a SMALL venue. The smallest I've ever been to. And at that time I haven't even been inside yet.

While everyone was freezing and waiting, the door opened and the "crowd"(25people) were like: Ohhhhh! *screech*
Yes, Rob was squeezing between us. I saw him from a few meters away and was seeing Chuck, the prophet walking towards me. I didn'T believe it until....When he walked past me, I received my first "Hi".
Which made me fall for him immedeatly, because it was such a sweet "Hi". <3

Finally inside, I headed for the first row which was empty yet, of course, since we only were a few people. XD
I bought the newest album of LS, called Eskimo and for a second after buying, I regretted it, because: Hey, do you know whether you like it? Maybe it was coincidence that you liked the first album. Why didn't you buy this one instead? Argh.
But my conscience was gone rather fast, when Jason was entering the stage. Equipped with his guitar, he started singing. And...
WOW, he has such a clear voice. Man, I never thought he would sound like that.

He played a new sng which he didn't even finished writing yet. And was playing just for us. Of course, we weren't allowed to recordXDD
His cover of Hallelujah was beautiful and unplugged with all of us singing along, it was amazing.
Jason asked the crowd whether there were any requests and someone screamed something with Kiss. And he was like: Ah, that's what you want, okay.
He started playing, singing...it was beautiful, but...hahahaha, in the end...you just SAW that he was thinking very hard. And then he suddenly stopped playing his guitar and still looked like he was thinking about something when he just announced that he forgot how to continue.
"I wrote this song...and still I forgot how to play it." is what he said.
Later, he announced his first cover-song: "Well, I didn't wrote that song, so let's hope I can remeber this one."XD
Somewhere in the middle, I realized that Rob and the rest ofhis band were sitting at the bar. Yes, the venue was a one-room-club-with-a-bar-in-the-back. And they were sitting there like: Yeah, nice concert. Who's that guy singing?...
The last song which was requested was: Crazy Love.
I think everyone knows that there are two people needed to sing that song and so, Jason asked Rob whether he would like to sing with him. And then, they sang this wonderful song. Fortunately,  I recorded half of the song and now can daydreamXD

After that, Louden Swain's turn had come.Haha, Rob stood in front of the mic which had the height of Jason and was like: Oh, wow. That's high. He looked at it as if he was looking at a skyscraper. =D
After a lot of nice songs, Rob aid they were gonna play a new song and...it was Eskimo. I never heard it before and I fell in love immedeatly. Even now, a day later, I still can't stop listening to itXD Unfortunately, this song sounds muuuuuch better in live. It is amazing as a recording but in live it was even better, because he was smiling because of the text and it sounded great! <3
Even my request was fullfilled, since I wished for silverspoon and they said ti was requested after the show in London. That's what I did. My until-then-favourite-song~ Uweee, of course I recorded it in whole. I think I don't need to mention how hard it is to rock and record at the same time. XD Shortly before the end, he started looking at his guitar and his face said: Do not disturb, I'm thinking.
Then, he finisehd the song aprubtly and was like: "I forgot how to play the song."
From the back, Jason calls: "It happens." Everyone's laughing and Rob lookes around:"Jason?" XD
What I always love about non-german bands playing in Germany is that they all learn a few german sentences and try to tal kto the crowd with them. That's exactly what Rob tried. And it was fabulous.
"The next song is" would be "Das nächste Lied ist...." but he just said "Das next Lied is..." and it was kinda cute, because the crowd was like: Hell yeah, he tried it, let's scream, because he's cute and he was just 'yeah-ed' and was like:yeah, I said something right. They liked it
And that made the crowd screech even louder, because he was becoming more cute by the minutes that passedXD
His commentary on the next song was always great.
He wrote a song for his Supernatural fans. "A dark and twisted song" as he described. Of course, everyone there was a SPN fan. XD "A sure assumption" as the guitarist noticedXD

You see these blue eyes?*-*
The SPN-song is called "Mamma's Jam" and is about a woman, his mamma, ho killed his daddy because he hit on her too often and is now getting outta jail...I hope I understood that jail-part right. Somewhere in the middle of Potart Heart, I think, Rob needed to have a short break because he couldn't stop giggling and then he was like: Haha, I love that part of the song.
Then, they wanted to sing one more song. A song which he wrote for his best friend whom he still loves a lot, although they live far apart. As it always happens with best friends. You just grow up. "World's collide" So beautiful~*___*
When everyone was like: Ooooooh, moooore. He decided they could do one more, Medicated. A sad song, as he said with a smile. A man falls in love with a women, but she doesn't love him back. Funny and beautiful.
And last but not least we got him to sing one more. "Alright", it is called. And the persuaded Jason(who was drinking and relaxing at the bar) to come back to the stage and sing with them. He was supposed to sing the chorus. But failed terribly in the beginningXD sinc ehe didn'T know when to sing, he just didn't do it, After a short break, he got it.
And then, Jason and Rob were hugging. So cute, since Jason is 8times taller than RobXD After that, Jason just said:"Now, I feel alright." XD

Well, then they came to the bar and were there for us. For hugs, pictures and hugs, autographs, talkings and did I mention hugs?
Rob is the kindest guy I ever met. I was kinda fainting when it was my turn talking to him and he was so cool and nice and tried to calm me. Well, it wasn't his fault that it didn't workXD And I couldn't utter the easiest sentencesXD Lucky me, that my English is on standard level or else I wouldn't have been able to somehow ask him for a pictureXD
He signed my autograph book. He is left-handed, guys. LEFT-HANDED. Do you know how rare that is in Germany? (I'm left-handed, too, of course.I am one of 3 left-handed of 900 students at my school) He even put a little heart on it*-*
The bad thing is that ot was so dark in the club that we had to use flashlight, but still the pictures look terribleXD
But, one thing to everyone. Let yourself get hugged by Rob if you get the chance. He smells lovely. I'm still in trance when I think about it. He....*squeeeees* I'll never forget his scent. Never. No way. *________* I was happy when I saw that he is a little taller than me, since I'm kinda tall for a german girl.>-< But the height difference on the photograph is perfect~

I found a few friends a few minutes ago and we all talked to him together. When he asked how long we knew each other, we said like, uh, 10minutesXD He was all excited and said:" You see, it happens on occasions like this. People meet each otehr and become friends. That's great." And he told us that he likes concerts like this a lot more than for example the last on ein LA since he rather parties with 6people who are into it than with a lot more who just stand there and lay back (as he gestured). 1-0 for BerlinXD
After talking with him about SPN a little, we decided we want to have Chuck back. He said he loved playing "hord-toilet-paper-Chuck" and would gratefully return whenever they asked him, since he never really died. He is more alike Chuck than he knows he isXD hahaha.
Then, I fought my way to Jason. I couldn't miss being hugged by him and have an autograph plus photo.
when he wrote into my book, I noticed, he is left-handed, too. HELLLOOO?! Is there a meeting of left-handed guys somehere?O.o XDD
(Since Zackariah is left-handed, too)
I asked him: "Is the any chance in getting a picture with you?" and he simply and seriously answered:"No." When I gave him my puppy-look, he started smiling and hugged me TIGHT. *-* He's huge. XD And then, I got my photograph.

Shortly after that, we needed to go since the "boys" were being collected and brought to their hotel. Noone has been to Germany before so they were gonna have a sightseeing tour the next day(today).

I could continue writing and writing and writing....it was a long, but too short evening. I loved it.
In the end, my autographs. Left one is Rob and right one Jason.

Sorry to everyone who's being annyoed by my fangirlingXD
