NEW YEARS
new years was good. my first real new years parties. i've always spent them with a few friends or family. not a lot of people. this year though i went to two parties. one at carolines and one at nicks. both were good. i felt random at both during parts. but i loved the people i was with. even though i felt out of place. but. thats okay. i'm glad i spent my new years with them. i just wish i could have spent the night. but if spend 2006 the same way i spent new years eve...that will be fine by me. bonfires and guitars and new people mixed with regret, awkwardness, nostalgia, feeling out of place. but thats cool. good thing the person i thought i would be kissing at new years was kissing someone else. i still have never had a new years kiss. oh well. oh. and resolutions? psh. i never keep them. but you know the normal ones.. be healthier. run more. be better at school. do good on SAT. don't get jealous. go with the flow. stop worrying. be happier. don't fall into another funk. and i need to stop second guessing myself, especailly when i'm around people who intimidate me. like on new years.
