(no subject)
Square One... I guess the fact that I didn't get the position at Bank of America doesn't bother me as much as it did on Friday. Time does heal all wounds and again, it just means there's something better out there for me. Just have to find it and I know I will.
I got my Texas Driver's License in the mail Friday. I was so glad that I got it, because I don't have to bring my passport everywhere now. YAY! Isn't it sad that it still puts a smile on my face knowing that I'm a TEXAN?! I'm still in shock everytime I look at my license. It just doesn't feel true. However, the picture is absolutely terrible. I hate my lazy right eye. I hate my lazy right eye. I hate my lazy right eye. Did I mention that I hate my lazy right eye? It seriously messes pictures up for me. The picture wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for that damn eye. I guess I really can't complain because I felt it was going to be worse than it really is.
It's so interesting. The driver's license is almost as flimsy as New York's is. However, unlike New York's, I feel if I played with it too much, I would break it. I think I could have made a better license though. They have a picture of the State Capitol building in Austin on a pale yellow background. I'll show ya'll one day. It drives me crazy. There's so much creativity these states could have with it, but choose not, as they chose not with their state quarters and state route signs. I want to design these things!! I still have a design that I would love New York to take for their state route signs. NYS DOT, if you're reading this, holla at me for more details! haha. Maybe being a marketing major will put me in the direction to do such a thing! ::ponders::
Oh, so let me tell you... I don't know what happened to me when I moved here but I've been going out a lot! I even went out both last and Friday nights clubbing. When did I start doing these things?! However, I'm having a blast and I'm learning how much I underestimate my strength. Let's just say that I've lifted somebody up last night while dancing with them. I was told that I was "SOOOOO much fun!" I try... haha! And we'll leave it at that!!
