holy shit. the supreme court upheld the "partial birth" abortion ban. this is insanity. from a legal standpoint, the court has made it absolutely clear that any law banning abortions that did not contain an exception to protect the health of the mother should the pregnancy be suffering from severe complications or in the case of an emergency would not pass. for this ruling to have occurred means the justices said "precedent? oh i remember precedent, that's quaint, like the genevah conventions".

i'm pretty hung over and just woke up and can't explain it well, but these people have no integrity.
