so paiste and i just broke up, at my instigation. the most immediate cause being that she was with some dude the other day, but that isn't really it. we haven't been having fun lately, i've felt kind of disconnected from her, and i feel pretty scared and inadequate in the face of fatherhood. it's really frustrating, because during the breakup she displayed all of her best qualities and by the end of it i was admiring her and practically trying to take it all back. she deserves better than me, and i don't deserve her, so i guess that makes me doubly the fool.
