dont ask me why, but i'm really restless right now.
i've been wanting to get out and exercise for the past 2 weeks.. and i have no motivation. i want to eat healthier.. and the only reason i believe i am.. is because i'm broke and can't afford fast food. i've been eating everything from home and trying to make it moderate.
i watched a video on youtube of someone who i'm really fond of. katilette. aka. shaycarl's wife. if you dont know who either of these people are, check them out. you'll love them.
anyways.. she's had 3 kids... and she looks great.. beside the fact that she's a nutritionist.
she read a book that suggests this:
since our bodies are 75% water.. we should be intaking water.. naturally. so if you're going to eat anything before noon.. make it fruit. then in the afternoon and evening.. you can eat whatever you want.. just dont go overboard. still try and keep it healthy.
so i've asked my mom to buy lots of fruits next shopping trip and hopefully i'll be able to help out with dinner and make some really healthy suggestions.
i think in some way that this will help me become more motivated to work out and feel good about myself.
i weighed myself at the recruiter's station and i'm 3 pounds over the weight limit for my height. not only am i 3 pounds over.. but i'm also 8 pounds heavier than i was last month when i swore in... so i'm definately not happy about that.
mom keeps suggesting that we go walking sometime.. either in the mornings or evenings.. but i really dont need that. i walk literally all day at work 3 days a week. we're not allowed to stand in one place.. so i dont see how walking around the block would help me in the slightest bit. i think getting on the treadmill and running might help.. but i suck at running and have no idea where to begin building up any kind of .. not resistance.. but stamina. thats it.
anyways.. this is my health binge and hopefully i'll stick with it.
and since i'm so restless and cant seem to get tired.. i think i'll make myself tired by gettin on that tread mill followed by some 50 odd situps. =]
