Howdy compadres

Well I have had an interesting past few days. On Tuesday, I went to see Mute Math and Mat Kearny at Liberty and was able to see a lot of people I haven't seen in quite a while. Both Mat and Mute Math were very talented and I was very happy to be able to see them play. Afterwards, I went over to Sluggo's to see Arkitekt and talked to a lot of people that I hadn't seen in a while. Tuesday was an amazing night. I finally had the opportunity to really talk to Saffron. She is an incredible girl and I was glad that I was able to hang out with her.

On Wednesday, I woke up around 3 o'clock in the afternoon and had to be at the church by 5. Needless to say, I was late getting there. I led the worship band and I have to say it was awesome. I was pretty nervous because I don't usually lead worship with a band. I was very glad that everything worked out. After worship, a guy named Eddie Spencer spoke about making the right decisions and not following the path he took. Eddie Spencer was an ex-prisoner who had his life radically changed by God and became saved. It was an awesome testimony.

Later that night, I met up with some Pace Assembly folk and had a great Bible talk. Soon after we all left to go home, I was feeling very nauseated. I ended up throwing up until 3 in the morning. Thankfully, I am much better than I was and God really helped me through it all.

I find myself, in so many ways, not giving God the credit He truly deserves. He was nailed to a tree on Calvary, and a lot of the time, I can only think about myself and my needs. I wish I could be as selfless as Jesus was. I wish I could be as loving and compassionate as my Savior was. I wish I could be all that He is.

Well, I am out of here for the moment. God bless all of you and please keep me in your prayers for more of God in my life and less of my flesh and my needs.
God bless you all!
