Back into the swing of things, Kenneth Thomas brings the “emotional melodic edge” that he’s known for with some added tech-house influence to The Works this Friday, June 16. He’s been a pretty busy guy, representing Detroit alongside big names like Paul Oakenfold and BT. He’s also got some tricks up his sleeve: “I just started a remix of Samantha James for OM Records. Yes, that OM Records ... Looks like they are trying out some new things ...” After he opens up for Ferry Corsten at Bleu the following night, he’s outta here … but not for long. “Being as I will be on tour with Perfecto most of July and traveling the rest of June,” said KT, “this will be my last Detroit-area performance till at least August.”

This edition of Bandwidth has a kick-ass lineup including breaks and drum ‘n’ bass from Dilemma, live programming from Codine, old schoolin’ from Felton Howard, a mixed bag of tricks from Trench and whatever the heck Greg Mudge feels like playing. Only $5 to get in before 2 a.m., this party’s goin’ late. 18+ get in at 1846 Michigan Avenue. | RDW
