For those of you who didn't know, I went to a Coheed Concert on Halloween.
So yuh, I had the BEST TIME EVER the other night. :O!
I was just, wow, surreal. Okay, here's a play-by-play.
We arrive at the Tabernacle, I dart over to the Coheed merch booth, buy a CoCa hoodie, then went over to the Blood Brothers booth and bought a tshirt. I stuffed the tshirt in my pocket and tied the hoodie on my waist. I was reasonably close at this point and was waiting for the show to start. So mewithoutYou came up and started doing their thing. I enjoyed them quite a bit, the lead singer really got into it. Dredg was up next, and they fucking rocked. They made me dig up my albums of theirs and give them another good listen, I missed their music. *swoon* The bass player for Dredg picked up a glass bowl and smashed it into the crowd. Not a very smart/nice thing to do. After they ended their set, Blood Brothers were up next. While they were setting up, I felt a hand in my pocket. Not my hand. I grabbed my ass for a quick wallet check and, sure enough, a guy about my age was trying to pick my pocket. I pushed him back and asked him what the fuck he was doing. "Uhhhh..." I then proceeded to fuck up his left shin with my shoe. He called me an asshole and I didn't see him for the rest of the concert. Seriously, we're all here to see a great show, not have our shit stolen. Grow up. A bit after that The Blood Brothers started up and I fucking LOVED it. The lead singer came right up to the gate and stood over us screaming his lungs out. Our hands were all over him trying to support him so he wasn't pulled into the crowd. xD *coughassgrabcough* At one point, he pointed the mic into the crowd and me and this guy named Steven screamed the lyrics into the mic. Their set lasted a bit too long in my opinion, mainly because I wanted to see Coheed. So their set ended and he crouches at the end of the stage getting some water and we inform him that their set was fucking insane, he thanked us and said, "Hey, you guys knew all the lyrics." We replied, "Dude, we fucking love you guys, of course we know the lyrics." "That's awesome, guys." It was so fucking surreal. I was parched, so I asked a girl named Karen for a drink of her beer. KAREN, I LOVE YOU YOU FUCKING ROCK. <3333 Then Coheed started setting up and by now I have a firm place DEAD CENTER, FRONT STAGE right in front on the main mic. Some girl asked if she could have my place, I laughed. :] So Keeping The Blade plays and we all go wild, then Claudio takes the stage and begins playing Always and Never and from then on out, the entire show is a giant sing-along. I was in awe, I'm seeing my favorite band (that's not in another country or broken up) and I'm RIGHT THERE. No more than 5ft away from one of my favorite living artists. So Coheed's setlist was this:

After that they basically jammed for about 14 minutes, so I left to go get some water by jumping the fence. I paid $3 for some water, then saw a water fountain down the hall. I felt stupid. :]
I've never sweated so much in my entire life, it looked as if I had taken a shower with my clothes on, but it sure as hell didn't smell like it.
In short, I had the best time of my life. Literally.
I'm trying to hit up Cobalt and Calcium for some pics of the show, but I can't log in because I lost my password. So I sent in a request for a new password, Brian should message me back soon with a new one. I did manage to get a good pic of the band from the forums, so here it is:
