College does that to you. Now that I'm home for spring break, I'll get to spend time with some of my Quitman friends, but I NEVER see my MSMS friends anymore, except for the occasional visit from Desi or Matt.
What I've noticed though, and this is VERY noticable to me, is that I've changed a LOT in the past couple of months. Not in a bad way, not at all; I'm a lot more mature, a lot more independent. Overall... when I do get a chance to visit some of my older MSMS friends, I suddenly feel like they haven't changed at all, and I don't really like it. Or they've changed in ways that conflict how I've changed. Suddenly, I don't really want to be around them. Now, this mostly applies to the ones that were in my class -- generally, I've found that my senior class (that'd be people like Desi and Cookie) seems to be a lot more like me, and I have no issues with them... It's just whatever was in the water for my own class seems to have gotten to their heads since they haven't left one another.
But I think that's enough of my blabbering on your journal. XDDD

I feel the same way, as does my family. It was an uncomfortable transition at first (college, first apartment) but I think I'm getting the feel for it now.
