It's 2011, what the actual fuck
Okay. Okay. It is January 9th, and only now am I getting round to this New Year thing- but I don't feel so bad, cause this is still pretty early for me. Right! There's a point to this. I'm actually writing out my resolutions this year, so I can't just let them slide away. My New Year's Resolutions go like this, in no particular order:
-Start saving for travel. Pretty straight-forward, need to get to Oz for a holiday by the end of the year or I will be stapled to a chair, forced to eat vegetables and disembowled (after they've disgested for maximum discomfort)- all by my best friend. Frieeennndship<3
-Start posting! Even if it's anonymous, it'd be a huge thing for me. I've only let 2 people in on anything I've ever written in my 20 years, I'm just that insecure, I guess. Scary, but can imagine it being extrememly liberating. Sticking to this one, fingers crossed!
-Stop smoking when I go out. Considering my last NYR was to cut down, I think I've had under 40 the whole year through (think, THINK!), so I consider this a win. It's such a stupid thing to do, smoking when I'm drunk, I know, but at 2am all I want is a cigarette and people are always willing! Filthy enablers, all of them, lol.
(I want to say cut back on alcohol consumption here, because even I know how unhealthy my habits are but these are resolutions, not jokes ;) ) Bad life decisions, do them anyway! Great motto :D
-Stop being such a coward and actually get into lj and talk to people. I am SO sad like that, I hand-wring and lurk and dither and generally piss myself off in my own head, when I know there's nothing to get so fucking antsy over. People are nice. I'm just being a dick. Getting into lj, I am doing it. ...hopefully. Ugh. Shut up, self.
Ending on a happy note! New Patrick Stump album for definite in the works, excited, and My Chemical Romance in February! Words fail me. Won't make the mistake of wearing loose converse this time, hopefully. Even though I will, probably.
