Why do I feel like the Grinch?

All of the figurines in my manger scene look completely Anglican and then there's one black wiseman and he's the only one who seems to be accurately represented. When are they going to start portraying Bible figures with the right nationality? On a side note it's Christmas Eve and my Dad's preparing everything in our refrigerator for consumption tonight along with my baked goods and my Mom is frantically vacuming and dusting everything she possibly can. It's almost like she does it so she can live up to her "clean freak" reputation and of-course out of the social rules of good hospitality. Anyway it's humid and raining out-side and it's Christmas Eve. I need to live in a place where the weather will put me in the holiday mood, cause nothing else seems to do it anymore and the weather down here just puts me in a bad mood blah! I remember when I was little it seemed like everyone celebrated Christmas. Now it seems like half the population is celebrating some other holiday and the other half isn't really celebrating "Christmas" but more so all of the ridiculousness of it. I'm not sure why anyone even bothers anymore. I miss being a sheltered little child where everyone celebrated Christmas for all the right reasons and waking up Christmas morning was the best feeling in the world and no matter how early it was it still wasn't soon enough. Oh well Merry Christmas for what it's still worth! I'm gonna go and try to get a picture of this ugly huge igunana in my backyard now!
