(no subject)
I hope the computers at Siegel are gonna be faster again soon... they were SLOW the other day, i had a line at the equipment desk wrapped around toward the multi-purpose room, AROUND the corner as far as i could see. it sucked. apparently that's the slowest they've ever run, including every year at move-in. at one point i got so frustrated i said over the walkie-talkie "Megs, these computers SUCK!!!" ... and i found out later that both Anne and Tom (the bosses, essentially) were standing up front when I said that. oops.
so, yesterday was the CPR training at siegel... lol. I was paired up with Randi's brother, Jordan, to share a mannequin with. The day was a bit long, but we get paid for it, so it's okay. After awhile, my lack of sleep started catching up to me, and while we were watching the demonstration for the CPR, Jordan and I started singing "another one bites the dust"... lmao. it was funny.
How do I already have 4 chapters of stuff to read, and I've only been to 2 classes? this is ridiculous. One day of classes, and already i have so much homework i'm having difficulty keeping up. if it was just reading, i'd be fine, cuz i'm a fast reader...but i have to take notes for the 3 biology chapters, and i have questions to answer for the 1 Chem chapter. sheesh.
Went to the 945 service at church today (instead of the 830 one i usually go to).... man, a LOT more people come to the 945 one. It was great to be back though, i didnt go last week cuz i was out of town...I didn't realize how much I missed it.
Didn't go on my date with Tom last night.... my excuse at first was that i have too much work and was gonna be too tired after 8 hours of CPR training... but actually we decided to wait and do a double-date so I'd be more comfortable with the first date.
This is procrastination blog #1... i'm done with 2 bio chapters, part of the way through the 3rd one....gotta finish that, then do my chemistry, and then tomorrow i'll get even MORE homework. urgh. ok enough procrastinating...
