I apologize, but from what I know of this character, you seem terribly OOC. Furthermore, I have no access to your application, since you neglected to put it up either in your journal, nor in your profile. If these differences between your Mello and the canon Mello are due to the character's history, I would like to know. Also, please keep in mind that while you can change the character's history, players are advised to keep their personalities as canon as possible. Your Mello is not cruel, conniving, or selfish, and while he displays minor amounts of these attributes, does not match up to the characterization as seen in canon. I advise keeping a little more implied, and less stated outright. I know it is hard to play a character like an asshole, but if you have difficulties with it, perhaps this isn't the character for you.

Thank you, I will take all of that into consideration.

A majority of Mello's communication has been with Matt, and from what I've figured in the anime and manga, Matt's one of the few people he'd ever be nice to, mainly because Matt's his dog. Some of it might differ due to the history (I will post that in my profile once I get access to it) but I think most of it is because he hasn't interacted with many other people.

But I do thank you for your input and will try harder in conveying that.

I have a problem with your presentation of Mello. And although I admire that you are making your Mello conniving--in his past journal entries, at least--the problem lies in Mello's constant state of ill health.

Canonly, yes, we all know Mello enjoys his chocolate. But, what's a way to phrase this? He's not that ignorant, and wouldn't continually eat chocolate. Sure, in the manga and anime we see that he eats it. But he wouldn't just base his entire meal on pure chocolate alone. Mello, like every character (fictional or not) needs substance or else he'll die from malnutrition.

Oh, and two more things before I part: 1) Mello wouldn't go out and provoke others; he stays to himself and only bites when he's provoked. 2) your Mello apparently doesn't mind being "number 2," hence why this point is the second.

The thing about Mello and the chocolates in my latest entry was actually intended to be just overdramatizing, because he wanted to take a day off. >< And then I kind of didn't really care about it and just let it drop to whatever.

As for the tiny parts at the bottom, I'm a bit confused as to where those are coming from. Mello's only attacked after he's found some sort of threat (the entire Misa thing was because he saw her as a threat, thought it was funny, and was trying to scare her off). And for the part two, he does mind, he's just keeping it to himself. I haven't really branched out with this, namely because I haven't stretched out with it, but I will try harder.

Really, thanks so much for the input. Every crit helps, and I'll definitely keep it in mind.
