i keep rereading that last post.its sounds so petty and childish.i rarely EVER call people names.im very openminded and im aware that everyone has flaws.i'm very accepting of anyones "eccentricities".i dont take name-calling lightly, except with pete, thats different.pete is very conceited and uppity.sometimes he needs to be knocked down to our ( Read more... )

It seem to me that Colin and your mum get on great, i was wondering, do they actually see the way that his kids are acting and choose to ignore it, or do they not see the things that you see?

I dont mean to cause offense but most of them seem like scroungers, who show no respect and are essentially thieves, the way they take these things (the Kayak, the Bikini (what the hell did HE want with that?)) is theft.

I am generally a patient and non-confrontational person, however at the same time (although it sounds quite contradictary) i do say what i think sometimes, and i really think that your mum and Colin should spell it out to these people, (family or not) that they are taking the piss. or if you feel strongly enough about it yourself, say something yourself.

it reminds me of a situation where i live, the car park is fairly small and it is a case of too many cars and too few spaces, i parked my car and soem pratt parked across the back of it so i couldnt get out, so at 7.30am on saturday morning (freezing cold and ice on the ground) i knocked on his door to ask him to move the car, he tutted and whinged and i lost the plot, i just shouted that if he didnt park across the back of my car i wouldnt be waking him up, and that if he didnt move his car, then i would, by ramming it with mine :)

maybe a little over reacting, but he did move his car :)

my mom definitely sees it.colin does too,but he's in ""denial" over it and pretends everything is ok....colin and mom have almost ended the relationship several times because of these kids (only 1 of them is a kid who is 17,the other 2 are i think like 26 and 27,only a year or two younger than me).colin is the first man my mother ever went out with who was mentally and financially stable, they have the same goals in life, enjoy being around each other, and have the same interests.it is these things that fuel her anger towards his kids.

that guy in the car park was absolutely rude,to think he could make up his own parking spot in front of your car.do you live in a town or city?
