New Hampshire
Hey! I just got back from New Hampshire today. My dad, mom, my friend Julie and I went to Weirs Beach, NH for a week. We stayed in our cottage up there. It was so awesome! We went to the drive-ins, a water park, The Lost River Gorge and a lot of other cool places. We went to my cousins house and had a cookout there and hung out till like midnight. My cousin, Chris, hes my age, took Julie and me to this abandoned house in the middle of the woods near their house. It was so creepy. There were clothes and old jewlery and letters and stuff all over the place. There were dishes in the sink and old food and everything. It was kinda gross, but it was interesting to look through the house. We found old pictures from a long time ago of some family, I guess who lived there before. We were feeling brave, (well actually Chris and Julie made me) and we went into the basement. They like sandwiched me between them, I was holding onto Julies arm, she was in front with the flashlight and Chris was holding my shoulders in the back. It was so funny cuz I stepped on something and it made a loud noise and I screamed and jumped. lol. There was a motorcycle and some weird things in the basement. Let me remind you, this was in the middle of the night, so the only light was the flashlight that Julie was holding. We looked around then went back upstairs. We were gonna go look upstairs but we were already really creeped out. On one of the letters that were in the house, there was some guys name, his name was Thomas Moore. We looked on the computer and found that he was related to a famous poet from the 1700s. Creepy huh? Its just really weird how these people just disappeared and left everything. If we took something, it prolly would have been worth something sometime. But we were too scared that if we took something we would get haunted. lol. Its funny, cuz it was just us three 15 year olds in this creepy old house looking around. Chris kept shutting the flashlight off and I yelled at him everytime lol. I'd really like to go back there, it was fun though. We went to see The Skeleton Key last night. It was kinda confusing but I understood it after. It was really good. It was an awesome vacation. We go there every year, but next year we're going to Virginia to go to Busch Gardens. I cant wait! See ya!
